SoilCQuest is an organisation of two parts, a not for profit research institute and a commercial startup. Unified under one vision to research, develop and deploy technologies and systems for carbon sequestration in agricultural soils.
SoilCQuest researches technologies and systems that enable farmers to increase soil organic carbon making their soils, more fertile, productive and resilient. SoilCQuest is focused on building resilience and sequestering carbon into our agricultural soils. SoilCQuest is trialling a new microbial biotechnology that significantly increases plants' capability to draw down excess carbon and store it in agricultural soils.Increasing soil organic carbon has well-documented benefits that include increased water efficiency, on-farm productivity, and contribution to sequestration and reduction of agricultural greenhouse gas emissions.
